IS IT TIME FOR A CHANGE?
Is the current job market influencing people toward or away from making career changes?
The answer is that both things are happening at the same time. Some people are being forced into making a career change because their options are too limited in the fields that they have been working in. For example, many people in the real estate industry are being forced to look at other career options. At the same time, people who would prefer to do something else are often choosing to stay in the same field because they need to make money, and they can more easily get a job in a field where they already have experience than in a field where they are novices.
